Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper are important reference families for camper conversions, but a useful cockpit upgrade plan still starts with the individual cab configuration. This article is an editorial checklist, not a universal fitment promise.
Configuration before decoration
Confirm model year, steering side, transmission, head unit, climate controls and any existing accessories before ordering a vehicle-specific set. The correct reference depends on dashboard geometry and visible control positions.
Where an upgrade has the most effect
Centre-stack surrounds, vents, instrument areas, door accents and the gear-selector zone are high-visibility locations. Updating these zones can give a working conversion a more coherent finish while leaving the underlying dashboard in place.
Coordinate the cab with the living area
